Puzzle Day

January 29, 2013

Happy Puzzle Day

Last year I assembled a puzzle of a GIANT hamburger…..from that day on I swore I would never do a puzzle again! I had accomplished the world’s trickiest puzzle….I crossed it off the list, glued it, framed it, and now it is currently living on a wall in my bathroom.  No more puzzles for me. When I discovered today was either Puzzle Day or Corn Chip Day. Corn chips, for whatever reason, remind me solely of sweaty socks. I shant be eating nor celebrating sweaty sock chips. ….the choice was clear….I would have to do yet another puzzle.  All my life, we’ve had a Clue mystery puzzle. The puzzle comes in the box shown below; however, the puzzle looks nothing like the picture on the box.  Included in the box are two things:
 1. A plastic magnifying glass to help you read secret coded messages.
 2. A booklet containing all the clue, plot, and suspects you need to solve the Murder of Dr. Black.
The idea is that once you’ve completed the booklet, and the puzzle, you’ll be able to use the final clues pictured in the puzzle to solve the murder.

There are only a few problems.
1.I no longer have the red magnifying glass.
2. I no longer have the booklet
3. I’m missing a couple puzzle pieces.
4. No one online knows anything about the case. Trust me…I looked. Someone claims Mrs. Peacock did it, but they had no proof and I believe they’re just bitter.

So the puzzle’s done, but the mystery shall continue unsolved…..which is truly quite puzzling. Seems apropos don’t you think?
