Public Sleeping Day

February 28, 2013

Happy Public Sleeping Day

I had rehearsal today in the Richard’s Building on BYU campus. After a rousing evening consorting with my beloved ruffian friends, I needed a nap. How fortuitous! I “slept” my life away amidst bouncing balls and the passing comments, “Ohp looks like little Bunny FuFu’s tired,” and, “I don’t know how anyone could sleep in public…I’m always afraid someone’s going to steal me blind.”

Polar Bear Day

February 27, 2013

Happy Polar Bear Day

I donned my fur hat and inhaled a Klondike bar while I curled up to watch the BCC documentary on Polar Bears. Polar Bears have it rough, but don’t tell my dad that ;).

Tell A Fairy Tale Day

February  26, 2013

Happy Tell A Fairy Tale Day

Once upon a time, there was a tortoise named Ned. Ned was a silly creature who never wore his shirt. One day as he stuck is feet out of his shell he yelped, “Me thinks perchance I shall wear my shirt today!” When Ned put on his shirt, much to his dismay, he realized his shirt was no shirt at all….

but a mailbox.

The End.

And the moral of the story is: you should always be careful when wearing rings and eating steak…unless it’s on a Tuesday, for that is acceptable.

Chili Day

Happy Chili Day

Is it bad that I thoroughly enjoyed my evening watching videos of people eating the hottest peppers in the world? Don’t take my word for it

Tortilla Chip Day

February 24, 2013

Happy Tortilla Chip Day

Not many people know it’s Tortilla Chip Day today.  Many are snuggled their homes celebrating Oscar Sunday. I am no exception curled up on the couch with my wrinkled bag of tortilla chip nubbins.  Confession: I only watch Oscars for the Red Carpet show. Who doesn’t really?  As each film nominee was announced I found myself saying, “Ohp…yeah….didn’t see that one either, but her dress is lovely.”

Tennis Day

Happy Tennis Day

Crazy day! My friends and I planned a surprise birthday party at Guru’s for our friend Michael. I had three hours to stall before the party…. naturally we filled the time by celebrating Tennis Day with miniature ping pong and water pong followed by a rousing round of laser tag and arcade games. Once we got to Guru’s we stuffed our faces with cake and sang our little karaoke hearts out! I will never be able to listen to “Don’t Stop Believing,” without a smile creeping over my face.
