Happy Super Bowl Sunday
Ahhh! The great American tradition…. The Super Bowl….. The Baltimore Ravens vs. The San Francisco
49er’s. Someone asked me, “who are you rooting for?” My reply,
“My vote is with the Ravens for a number of reasons.
Subconsciously, there are literary connections, which automatically peg the
Ravens. Any Edgar Allan Poe fan worth
his salt would root for them. Besides their colors are less garish, they have a
BYU player, and the inspirational Blind
Side, Michael Oher. What more could you need? The 49ers have had their turn! This year is
the year for the under dog!”
Sure enough, with greasy fingers, greasy chicken, and greasy smiles on our faces, we watched the Ravens win the Lombardi Trophy and a year full of bragging rights.
