Happy Static Electricity Day
As many people have told me so far, “they truly have a holiday for everything.” Now…how does one celebrate static
electricity? You can’t exactly see it…you can’t write it a lovely note on a
hand crafted holiday greeting card….you can’t even make it….or can you? That is
precisely what my good friend Michael and I did this evening. It is not often
that you see two grown children rubbing balloons on their heads in great haste
or doing “the running man” on the carpet with socks just to give each other a
shock. The shocking bit was an epic fail, but the balloon on the hair trick
worked like a charm….I just wish the pictures showed the true majesty and power
that is Static Electricity. It’s ok…I know the truth.
