Happy Thesaurus Day
What does one do to celebrate the thesaurus other than read
it and dance around it?! Well after I was done doing that…I turned to my mother
saying, “ Mother, how should we celebrate Thesaurus Day? Are there any movies
that have to do with words…Like Akala and
the Bee or the Alphabet Killer?”
“Oh we can’t watch those…that’ll give our family anxiety.”
“How about You’ve Got
Mail? That has to do with words and typing and mailing them away…and books.”
“Mmmmm….not very thesaurus-y.”
“How about we ramble off all the synonyms we can think of
for a particular word….like…..stationary.”
