Happy Earmuff Day!
We own these cobalt blue earmuffs. They've been stashed in the top of a closet for as long as I can remember. As a little one I tried so hard to figure out how to unwind these nappy things so I could smash them onto my head and be cool. For years I've tried to no avail....something to which I probably shouldn't confess....but today for the first time in my life I succeeded! They blossomed. I smashed them on my head and a glow of satisfaction beamed out my nose, ears, teeth, eyeballs....you name it....my head was aglow!...until....one side of the muff crawled up my hair, snapped both sides into the air and landed in a tangle on the ground. This proceeded to repeat several more times till I snapped.... Or rather it snapped...in two! Death to the earmuffs. Thanks for being fast friends with me for a day. Too bad you decided not to cooperate.
